Its pretty hard to resist the bite sized, crispy, cheap goodness that are chicken nuggets. So I came up with TWO ways to enjoy a vegan version of McNuggets and Chic-Fil-A nuggets at home. McNuggetsYields 6 nuggets Ingredients: Oil for frying 1/2 can of cannellini beans 3/4 cup of flour for mix 1/4 cup of flour for coating 4 tablespoons of nutritional yeast (optional but recommended) 1/2 teaspoon of Salt 1 teaspoon of Pepper 1/2 teaspoon of Paprika 1/2 teaspoon of Onion Powder OR 1/4 cup of finely diced white onions Method:
Chic-Fil-A StyleYields 10-12 nuggets
Ingredients: Oil 1 can of young green jackfruit in brine 1 cup of flour Salt Pepper Paprika 1/2 cup of Non-dairy milk 3 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar Method:
Enjoy with some vegan ranch, bbq sauce or a Polynesian sauce!
